Description

Embark on one of the most iconic trekking routes in Patagonia and discover the Base Torres Vantage Point in its most spectacular version: the winter season. Departing from Puerto Natales, you will travel in a comfortable, winter-ready vehicle to Torres del Paine National Park, accompanied at all times by an expert local guide who will share with you the history, geology, and wildlife of this extraordinary place, as well as provide you with a safe experience. The hike begins at the Welcome Center. The first kilometers take you through pre-Andean scrub on terrain with ice and up the Asencio Valley to the Paso de los Vientos. You then enter snow-covered lenga forests and trails surrounded by mountains, rivers, and waterfalls that take on a unique character during the winter season. As you go, the landscape is constantly changing. The last stretch of the ascent will test your stamina: a glacial moraine with a demanding slope, snowy terrain, and epic views with every meter gained. The reward is unforgettable: the glacial lagoon and the majestic Paine Towers rising above a completely wintery setting, one of the most iconic postcard images of Patagonia. After taking in this wonder in peace, we begin our return along the same path to our transportation, which will drop you off at the door of your accommodation in Puerto Natales. With a maximum of 8 participants, you'll enjoy an intimate, peaceful, and personalized experience, with enough time to take in the scenery, rest, take photos, and connect with the mountain without the rush of large groups. In addition, you'll have quality technical equipment for winter conditions and you'll receive professional photos as a souvenir of this adventure. This trek requires a good level of fitness, but no previous mountaineering experience is necessary. Like any trekking activity in Patagonia, the itinerary may be modified according to the weather and trail conditions, always prioritizing the safety of the group and a responsible experience.
