San Pedro de la Paz är en chilensk kommun som tillhör provinsen Concepción (regionen Biobío). Den ligger söder och väster om Biobío River.
 
Den anses vara inom det större storstadsområdet Greater Concepción, gränsar i norr till kommunen Hualpén, i nordöst till kommunen Concepción, i öst till kommunen Chiguayante, i söder till kommunen Coronel, och i väst till Stilla havet. Tillsammans med kommunerna Chiguayante och Concepción integrerar den Valkrets nr. 44 och tillhör 12: e senatoriska cirkulationen.
 


San Pedro de la Paz ligger söder och väster om Biobío River, nära det geografiska centrum av kontinentala Chile. Kommunen har ett tempererat, varmt och fuktigt klimat, av medelhavstyp, och en nederbörd på 1 110 mm. årligen
 


Kommunen har en yta på 112,5 kvadratkilometer. Dessutom har den 14 kilometer kustlinje i Stilla havet, 22 kilometer vid floden Biobío, tre naturliga laguner (Laguna Grande, Laguna Chica och La Posada) och de första kullarna i Nahuelbuta Mountain Range.
 
Den karakteriseras av att vara en bostadskommun i Grand Conception, med naturen integrerad i stadsmiljön.
