Attraktioner Natur- och Äventyrsresor
En fem timmars bilresa norr om Santiago ligger regionen Coquimbo och det närmaste Chile har till strandorter. Här hittar du ett antal vackra stränder att sola på och njuta av det kristallblå vattnet. Var dock uppmärksam - medan vattnet kan se inbjudande ut, gör Stilla havets strömmar att det förblir kallt året runt.



Den pittoreska, skyddade viken La Herradura är en populär plats att promenera runt och sola. Dess vatten är lugna året runt så det är en säker plats att simma på och prova andra vattensporter. Längre norrut ligger Peñuelas strand, som är berömd för sin fiskehamn och en bra plats att prova dykning.



Värt ett besök är också den lilla strandstaden Totoralillo, som är en bra plats för nybörjarsurfare att komma i vattnet. Dess mjuka vågor är perfekta för nybörjare och mellannivååkare samt bodyboarders.
