Begin your tour with a pickup from your meeting point in San Pedro de Atacama. Head to Yerbas Buenas, where you can see the Domeyko Mountain Range, the Salt Mountain Range, and the Andes Mountains. At your first stop, visit petroglyphs, some of which are up to 6,000 years old. Enjoy the beautiful view of this stunning landscape as you have breakfast and prepare to enter your main destination, the Rainbow Valley. Located in the Domeyko Mountain Range, the Rainbow Valley is known for its colorful hills, created by the clay and minerals found in the area. After exploring the valley, visit Río Grande, a small village of artisans and farmers, marking the end of your tour. On the way back, enjoy a tasting of a typical desert infusion, such as rica rica tea, a traditional drink made with local herbs.
