Directions to Trawen
Trawen will undoubtedly give a lasting impression on customers who walk through its doors. Once inside there is a warm and cosy atmosphere in the main downstairs area, whilst upstairs diners can be treated to breathtaking views of the Villarrica volcano (on a clear day, mind you).
The food is equally spectacular. After 12 years of serving the locals and visitors of Pucon, this nifty deli (Trawen translates as “meeting place” in Mapuche) still strives to deliver patrons healthy and organic meals, with an on-site vegetable and salad garden providing totally fresh and ready ingredients. Aside from the rustic homemade bread, refreshingly crisp beers and illy espressos, there are a number of flavoursome dishes to choose from; tuna ceviche, smoked salmon sandwiches, steak in pepper sauce, empanadas and a host of salads mixed with pumpkin, goats cheese and other delicious additions.
The free wifi is an added bonus too, meaning you can e-mail friends and family telling them how wonderful your Trawen experience is whilst dining there.
Food type: Seafood, Vegetarian, International.
Opening times: Daily, 8am-Midnight.
