Viinitilamme on nimetty intiaanipäällikkö Picunche Andetelmon mukaan, “El Principal”, joka oli maan herra niillä mailla, joilla terroirimme sijaitsee nykyään, Cordillera de los Andes -vuoriston juurella Alto Maipon laaksossa. Hänen näkemyksellinen ja rauhallinen luonteensa hankki hänelle Espanjan valloittajien kunnioituksen, mikä johti tarinaan, joka ei ainoastaan mahdollisti heille pääsyn hänelle, vaan myös tuleviin vaihtoihin, jotka jatkuvat edelleen tänä päivänä.
