Museo Chilen

Museum of Contemporary Art, joka kuuluu Chilen yliopiston taiteiden tiedekuntaan, perustettiin vuonna 1947. MAC on kuuden vuosikymmenen aikana kerännyt yli 2000 teoksen kokoelman chileläistä taidetta.
 
Kaikkein täydellisimmät ja tärkeimmät kokoelmat ovat maalaustaide, joissa on noin 600 teosta, kaiverrukset, joissa on lähes tuhat kopiota, sekä piirrokset, temperamaalaukset ja vesivärit, jotka käsittävät noin 130 teosta.
 
MAC: n isännöimät tilapäisnäyttelyt ovat tehneet siitä pääasiallisen lavan kansallisen ja kansainvälisen nykytaiteen levittämiselle maassa sekä nuorten chileläisten taiteilijoiden laukaisualustaksi. Vuodesta 2005 alkaen MAC: lla on kaksi perintökohdetta: MAC Parque Forestal ja MAC Quinta Normal.
