Las Buenas Brasas

Ideally located a short trek away from the centre of Puerto Varas (and near the coastline), Las Buenas Brasas are experts in tasty seafood dishes. Even from the outside this restaurant oozes homeliness, with its red picketed fence and colourful garden. But once inside, diners will be made to feel even more welcome thanks to the appetising foods on offer and prompt service from the staff.

Out of the starters, the king crab receives justified praise by most who try it and going onto the mains, the seafood platter is something else; king prawns, shrimps, oysters, crab legs, clams, salmon and more, all of which seem to overflow the plate. For those who aren’t quite in a fishy mood, the steak (locally known as ‘lomo’) or beef fillet are welcome alternatives, as is the ‘purée picante’ (mash with spices).
