Depart Santiago city center and head towards the hundreds of summits that make up the magnificent Andes mountain range. Journey in a small group to trek through a forest of typical sclerophyllous plants. Challenge yourself to a hike up Mount Alto del Naranjo in the precordillera hills. Work your way to the summit at 6,200 feet above sea level and get rewarded with spectacular views of the high peaks of the central Andes, such as Mount Plomo (18,000 feet) and the massive Iver Glacier.
