Events in Chile - Industry prepares for the third version of the Tourism Summit
The most important meeting of the sector has a special connotation this
year, because it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Federation of
Tourism Companies of Chile (FEDETUR), organizer delevento.
With focus on innovation, development and efficiency, and under the motto 'Transforming experiences', next Thursday August 29 a new version will be developed for the third consecutive year of the Tourism Summit.
The W Hotel will host the activity, which brings together important national and international exhibitors international organizations, public and private sector authorities, representatives of industry and general public linked to tourism.
One of the main objectives of the Summit is to highlight the importance of reaching the current tourist through the promotion, with a demanding look at sustainability, human capital and orientation to quality service, in addition to highlighting the benefits and attractions of our country developing tourist experiences.
In an increasingly competitive global market, the digital transformation of the industry is one of the main challenges that the sector has, and this meeting has become a valuable instance to debate issues and public policies linked to tourism activity.
In fact, in the two previous versions, more than 500 attendees participated, and exhibitors from first level, confirming the interest that exists to participate in the Summit Tourism.
For the Executive Vice President of Fedetur, Helen Kouyoumdjian, this third version is particularly special for the union, 'because we celebrated 10 years representing the industry, and in this space of time we have become the main reference for sector, which is a huge responsibility, considering that we are in a stage crucial for national tourism and the objective of transforming this sector into an industry sustainable'.
