MARCO CAROLA
At the age of 13 he got his first drums, which he played for years before buying and playing records. In 1990, when the scene of the Italian House was in its golden age - at the same time as the madness of the Acid House in Britain - Carola's battery was replaced by two plates and a mixing console. He practiced a lot with the table and quickly learned to puncture the new rhythms that were heard on the dance floors.
Carola's transition to techno began in 1993 with other Neapolitan friends and clubbers such as Gaetano Parisio, Davide Squillace, Random Noize and other DJs who were looking to do something new in the Neapolitan scene. Through the last years he has become one of the greatest exponents of technomundial music. He currently has his residence in the German city of Frankfurt, where he previously created the Zenit and Question stamps. Without a doubt, it can be said that he is one of the DJs that has generated the greatest influence within the international scene.
THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS
They have a Spanish surname - maybe because Latin in the Big Apple keeps selling - but they are more American than General Motors. Chris and Steve have stormed the music scene since they were old enough to go to high school. They are Dennis Ferrer's protégés who have already recieved the glove for the Objektivity seal. It is said, that Danny Krivit invited them to click on a 718 Sessions, one of the New York parties that keep the house more soul alive.
