La Calma, un lugar sencillo y acogedor, que cuenta con una gran terraza al aire libre, en donde Layera prepara solo lo que el mar le entrega cada día. Para esto, trabaja mano a mano con pescadores artesanales de caletas que van entre San Antonio y Los Vilos y, por supuesto, con buzos y mariscadores, quienes le llevan los mejores productos marinos que, hasta hace doce horas, nadaban felices en el mar.

Por lo mismo, la carta cambia todo el tiempo. Algunos días puedes encontrar mantarrayas, rollizos y sardinas; otros, las mejores albacoras, choritos y almejas. Y, a veces, productos de lujo difíciles de encontrar en otro lugar, como las preciadas chochas: un delicado molusco que abunda en la Región de Coquimbo, de sabor fresco, cremoso y elegante.
