Una de las maravillas de la región de Aisén y uno de los pocos ríos del planeta que no ha sufrido ninguna intervención del hombre. Escondido entre los Campos de Hielo Norte y Sur de Chile, cerca de la Laguna San Rafael, ofrece condiciones espectaculares para la práctica del rafting.
 
Sus rápidos van del grado 2 al 3, y mientras se avanza se puede disfrutar del color turquesa del río y de la exuberante naturaleza del entorno: imponentes paisajes vírgenes donde se pueden avistar especies como el huemul (ciervo del sur de los Andes), que está en peligro de extinción.
