Located in the VIII Region, 18 km. to the west of Yungay, this spectacular jump so little known, has a waterfall in which the Itata River falls of 75 meters. high by its cliffs, which were formed by the erosion of the rock, caused in the course of time by the river, you can see its abundant vegetation with shrubs and wild flowers that surround the place.
Along the same course of the Itata River there is also the Saltillo del Itata, in a beautiful place with a natural lagoon and an environment of many trees, such as willows, poplars.
To get to the Itata Falls you must go to the town of Yungay, then you must go west of the city traveling a distance from Yungay of 18 kilometers along a gravel road.
