The Brasserie del Parque Forestal is located in the Castillo Forestal, built-in 1910 by Alvaro Casanova Zenteno, and was inaugurated for the Centennial of Chile. Since 2014, Castillito del Parque has been given a new life with the concept of a French Brasserie using Chilean gastronomic ingredients and typical French recipes. Today, the Castle is listed as National Heritage.
The Castillo Forestal kitchen is characterized by having a great variety of classic French recipes. At Castillo Forestal they want you to feel like you are in a true Brasserie Française, that you can taste the classic escargots or boeuf bourguignon or even the 'crêpes suzettes' prepared and flambéed à la minute!
